We pay no regard to the accounts of the kind and number of difeafes given in the yearly Bills of Mortality, for the reafons affigned in our last volume.

We cannot conclude this article without heartily withing, that the great number of the drowned, among the above cafualties, may awaken the zeal of our readers to promote the views of the Beneficent Society inftituted for the recovery of perfons apparently dead by drowning, &c. See p. 196.
