In this publication, we will explore the first mans relationship with God. Though the terms of mans interaction with God was not defined by the word covenant, it is implied that God established a covenant with him. This is referred to as the Adamic Covenant. Gods relationship with the first man provides insight into the requirements placed upon the Christian today. Christians can learn from Adams conformity and contravention of Gods command to him. To understand Gods plan and eternal purpose for believers today, Adams relationship serves as an example.
