10. DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION A specially designed facility of permanent masonry type construction, brick and concrete block units, with built-up roof and concrete floors. A one-story structure with mechanical and electrical equipment. Air Conditioning 15 tons 11. REQUIREMENT : 8,216 SF ADEQUATE: 0 SF SUBSTANDARD: 4,128 SF PROJECT: This project will provide the heat, electrical, plumbing, automatic data processing environment, office and storage space to house a DLOG/Class IX system as authorized in National Guard Regulation 415-10. REQUIREMENT: The DLOG/Class IX facility is required to meet the logisti. cal support mission of the Army National Guard. CURRENT SITUATION: The unit 18 presently housed in two buildings constructed in 1943 and remodeled in 1975. The buildings consist of 4,128 square feet and because of the locations and deterioration of the wooden structure, it would not be possible to expand the existing facilities. IMPACT IF NOT PROVIDED: If the proposed DLOG/Cla88 IX 18 not provided, the unit will suffer resulting in an inefficient operati on.
