Thou mayest see, reader, by these few jarring sounds of discord, that a clamorous woman's ways are moveable, so that thou canst not know them. As for her asserting, that the moral law is done away as a covenant of works, it is an arrant lie, and has no foundation in God's book. The saint is delivered from it, that he may be saved: he that is of the works of the law, is under the curse. Whatever law, reader, thou livest and diest under, by that law wilt thou be judged in the great day; as it is written, "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened; [that is, the book of the law, the book of conscience, and the book of God's remembrance.] And another book was opened, which is the book of life: [this is the fourth book.] And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books according to their works." Some were of the works of the law, and some of the works of faith. "And they were judged every man according to his works, and whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was cast into the lake of fire." If thou, reader, should die in faith, thou diest under the covenant of grace, and shalt be judged by the book of life; but if thou diest under the moral law, thou shalt be judged by the law, and not by the book of life. He that is under the laws of Great Britain is not judged by the laws of Turkey. He that dies under the law, shall be cursed by the law; and

he that dies under the gospel, shall be blessed with eternal life.

O reader! let no one bewitch thee, that thou should not obey the truth. Cleave to Christ, " and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." "Whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [mark that, continueth] therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, [which work is the work of faith] this man shall be blessed in his deed." "Stand fast, therefore, in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made you free, and be not again entangled with the yoke of bondage." God calls such souls not servants, but sons; not strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, under the King of Zion, where God commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. Such are children, not of the bond woman, but of the free; and God declares, that by the law of liberty shall they be judged at last. "So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty."

Pay no regard to the scribblings of this woman, reader: she knows nothing of God; nor can she explain one truth of the Bible, or describe one grace in its operations, if it was to save her soul from hell. The church swarms with such hypocrites, whose end shall be according to their works.

P. S. If the reader would know, whether our great Apostle ever had any idea that the moral law is abolished, with respect to the believer in Christ, I refer him to the third chapter of the Second Epistle to the Corinthians, from the 6th to the 13th verse, where he will find more of the matter than ever I have written.
