We have great fatisfaction in announcing, that Dr. Maltby's new edition of Morell's Thefaurus is gone to Prefs.

Mr. Marratt's Book on Mechanics will appear in the course of next month.

A new and complete Edition of the Works of Archbishop Secker, with his Life prefixed by Bifhop Porteus, is in great forwardness for publication.

A new Edition of Spelman's Tranflation of Xenophon's Expedition of Cyrus, is in the Prefs.

Mr. George Chalmers is printing a Work on Bullion and Coin, Circulation and Exchanges.

Mr. Perceval Eliot is engaged in an Answer to Mr. Hufkiffon's Pamphlet on the Depreciation of Money.

Mr. C. Bradley, of Wallingford, has a Lexicon of the New Teftament, intended principally for the Ufe of Schools, nearly ready for Prefs.

Mr. Barrow Field, of the Inner Temple, has in the Prefs a full Analyfis of Blackflone's Commentaries, by a Series of Queftions, to which the Student is to frame his own answers by reading that work.

WE have read thefe volumes with confiderable intereft, and have received from the perufal much and important information. The author, a very intelligent man, and well quali fied for the enquiries, the refult of which his volumes commuhicate, accompanied a near relation to Canada, to accomplish under the fanction of Government, the cultivation of hemp.
