The Lessons appointed for days between the Fourth Sunday in Advent and the First Sunday after Epiphany, are to be omitted when the days for which they are appointed do not occur. When there are not Six Sundays after Epiphany, the Lessons for the week after the First Sunday may be omitted one year; and those which follow another Sunday, the second year; and so on: in order that in the course of several years all the Lessons provided may be read. The Lessons appointed fo: the days from the Twentieth Sunday after Trinity to the end of the year are to be real in every year, and those appointed for the weeks before the Twentieth Sunday after Trinity are to be omitted so far as necessary to this end.
