This Act may be cited as the "Juvenile Jus 6 tice, Runaway Youth, and Missing Children's Act Amend 7 ments of 1984". 2 SEC. 102. Section 101(a) of the Juvenile Justice and 3 Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974 (42 U.S.C. 5601(a)) is 4 amended 5 (1) in paragraph (1)— (A) by striking out "account" and inserting in lieu thereof "accounted", and (B) by striking out "today" and inserting in lieu thereof "in 1974 and for less than one-third of such arrests in 1983", (2) in paragraph (2) by inserting "and inade quately trained staff in such courts, services, and facilities" after "facilities", (3) in paragraph (3) by striking out "the countless, abandoned, and dependent", and (4) in paragraph (5) by striking out "prevented" and inserting in lieu thereof "reduced". PURPOSE SEC. 103.
