1 Read attentively, and meditate
upon, the following passages of

All that are in the Graves shall hear his voice and come forth ; they that have done.good unto the resurrection of Life, and they that have done evil unto the resurrection of damnation, John v. 28. · Whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Afts ii. 21.

and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart : and ye shall find rest unto your Souls. For my yoke is easy and my burthen is light. Mat. xi. 28, 29, 30.

seriously upon my heart, that this hour may be unto me the beginning of a new life., Grant that this Solitude and Confinement may recall my Soul from Vanity, bring me to a true Sense of my present Situation, and through the merits of my Saviour, promote the work of my Salvation. Give me at this time' such attention of mind, and fervency of devotion, that I may

perform an acceptable Sacrifice in ihy fight through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. , :
