món prayers and Service in and by the faid Book appointed to be read for that time of the day, and then and there publickly and openty declare his affent sunto; and approbation of the faid Book, and to the ufe of all the Prayers, Rites and Ceremonies, › Forms and Orders, therein contained and prescribed, according to the Form before appointed in this Act; And also shall upon the first Lecture day of every month afterwards, fo long as he continues Lecturer, or Preacher there, at the place appointed for his faid Lecture or Sermon, before his faid Lecture or Sermon, openly, publickly, and folemnly read the Common-prayers and Service, in and by the faid Book appointed to be read for that time of the day, at which the faid Lecture or Sermon is to be preached, and after fuch Reading thereof, fhall openly and publickly, before the Congregation there affembled, declare his unfeigned affent and confent unto, and approbation of the faid Book, and to the ufe of all the Prayers, Riies, and Ce remonies, Forms and Orders therein contained and prescribed, according to the Form aforefaid; and, That all and every fuch perfon and perfons, who fhall neglect or refuse to do the fame, fhall from thenceforth be disabled to Preach the faid, or any other Lecture or Sermon, in the faid, or any other Church, Chapel, or place of publick worship, until fuch time as he and they fhall openly, publickly and folemnly Read the Common-prayers and Service appointed by the faid Book, and conform in all points to the things

therein appointed and prefcribed, according to the purport, true intent and meaning of this Act.

Provided always, That if the faid Sermon or Lecturé be to be preached or read in any Cathedral, or Collegiate Church or Chapel, it shall be fufficient for the faid Lecturer openly at the ime aforefaid, to declare his aflent and confent to all things contained in the faid Book, according to the Form aforefaid.

And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That if any perfon who is by this A&t disabled to preach any Lecture or Sermon, shall, during the time that he fhall continue and remain fo difabled, preach any Sermon or Lecture; That then for every fuch offence the person and perfons. fo offending fhall fuffer Three months Imprisonment in the Common Gaol, without Bail or Mainprize, and that any two Juftices of the Peace of any County of this Kingdom and places aforefaid, and the Mayor or other chief Magiftrate of any City, or Town-Corporate, within the fame, upon Certificate, from the Ordinary of the place made to him or them of the offence committed, fhall, and are hereby required to commit the perfon or perfons fo offending to the Gaol of the County, City or Town-Corporate accordingly. of

Provided always, and be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That at all and every time and times, when any Sermon or Lecture is to be preached, the Common-prayers and Ser

And be it further enacted by the Authority aforelaid, That the feveral good Laws, and Statutes of this Realm, which have been formerly made, and are now in force for the Uniformity of Prayer and Adminiftration of the Sacraments, within this Realm of England, and places aforefaid, fhall ftand in full force and ftrength to all intents and purposes whatsoever, for the establishing and confirming of the faid Book; intituled, "The Book of Common.prayer, and Admini"ftration of the Sacraments, and other Rites "and Ceremonies of the Church, according to

as they are to be fung or faid in Churches; "and the Form or Manner of Making, Ordaining, and Confecrating of Bishops, Priests, and "Deacons;" herein before mentioned to be joined and annexed to this Act; and fhall be applied, practifed, and put in use for the punishing of all offences contrary to the faid Law, in relation to the Book aforefaid, and no other.

Provided always, and be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That in all those Prayers, Litanies, and Collects, which do any way relate to the King, Queen, or Royal Progeny, the Names be altered and changed froin time to time, and fitted to the prefent occafion, according to the direction of lawful Authority,

Provided also, and be it enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That a true Printed Copy of the faid Book, intituled, "The Book of Common"prayer and Adminiflration of the Sacraments, "and other Rites and Ceremonies of the Church, "according to the ufe of the Church of Eng"land; together with the Pfalter, or Pfalmis of “David, Pointed as they are to be sung or said "in Churches; and the Form and Manner of "Making, Ordaining, and Confecrating of Bi

Provided always, and be it enacted by the Au thority aforefaid, That the Bishops of Hereford, Saint Davids, Afaph, Bangor, and Landaff, and their Succeffors, fhall take fuch order among themselves, for the fouls health, of the Flocks committed to their charge within Wales, That the Book hereunto annexed be truly and exactly Tranflated into the British or Welfh Tongue, and that the fame fo tranflated, and be ing by them, or any three of them at leaft; viewed, perufed, and allowed, be Imprinted, to fuch number at least, so that one of the faid Books fo tranflated and Imprinted, may be had for every Cathedral, Collegiate, and Parish Church, and Chapel of Eafe in the faid refpective Dioceses, and places in Wales, where the Welth is 'commonly spoken or ufed, before the first day of May, One thousand fix hundred fixty five; and, That from and after the Imprinting and publifhing of the laid Book to Franflated, the whole Divine Service fhall be used and said. by the Miniflers and Curates throughout all Wales, within the faid Dioceles where the Welsh Tongue is commonly used in the British or Welsh Tongue, in fuch manner and form as is prescribed according to the Book hereunto annexed to be used in
