In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. John i. 1, 2, 3; 10. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Matt. xxvii. 18.

And no man hath ascended into heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man, which is in heaven. He that cometh from above is above all. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for he giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. John iii. 13; 31; 34.

To make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who hath created all things through Jesus Christ: to the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the Church, the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
