(Current mission) REQUIREMENT: This project is a continuation of the long-term effort to bring all the BEQS at MAGTFTC, 29 Palms up to the current 2x0 standard. Additional personnel have been assigned to MAGTFTC, 29 Palms over the last few years and assignments have exceeded the capacity of the existing enlisted billeting. This project also supports the Commandant of the Marine Corps goal to replace all inadequate bachelor quarters with the new 2x0 configured barracks. CURRENT SITUATION: Currently, three to four enlisted personnel are required to occupy a room with shared heads. Interior reinforced concrete walls prevent re-configuration of the interior spaces to accommodate the 2x0 standard.
