SHARON, PA., March 1, 1950.

W. W. LOBDELL,
Lustron Dealer Association, Mayflower Hotel:

Sold and erected 18 houses to date. Reasonably certain of 12 sales next 4 months and about 30 next 12 months. Potential maximum sales estimate at about 50 next 12 months. Sales would exceed sales to date because of new diversified models and especially low retail price of Newport model.

EDWARD S. KOPACZ,

Vice President.

PEORIA, ILL., March 1, 1950.

W. W. LOBDELL,

Lustron Dealer Association,

SIOUX FALLS, S. DAK., February 28, 1950.

W. W. LOBDELL,

Mayflower Hotel, Washington, D. C.: Dealership not received until late August. Erected nine Lustron houses until weather prevented winter construction. Men trained at factory for sales erection. Crews all trained. Now waiting for set policy of company before going ahead with definite plans. Large number foundation packages on hand. Tentative orders for five Lustron houses. Reasonably sure erecting 60 coming year. Lustron houses well received, and customers well satisfied. Certainly hope for continued Lustron production.

MCADOO BUILDERS SUPPLY.

PONTIAC, ILL., March 1, 1949.

W. W. LOBDELL,

Lustron Dealer Association, Washington, D. C.:

Our reply to your specific questions of wire of February 28 is as follows: (1) have sold and erected 10 homes to date; (2) reasonably certain of 20 sales in next 4 months; (3) reasonably certain of 40 sales in next 12 months; (4) potential sales in next 12 months of 60 homes; (5) sales of next 12 months will be so much above previous sales that comparison cannot be made. The winter trial as to heating of this home is the one thing that people have been waiting for. This trial has been a remarkable success. People want a tested product. We now have it.

W. W. LOBDELL,

JEAN A. McCoy & SONS.

JACKSON, ALA., March 1, 1950.

Lustron Dealer Association, Washington, D. C.: Have erected and sold two Lustron houses to date. Consumers demand and public interest is great but will be unable to handle any more houses due to antagonistic attitude of FHA. This has been the greatest handicap to all dealers with whom I have been in contact.

Our 11 houses were erected in 7 different counties to get the full benefit of on-sight advertising. E; choice of more models this year.

W. W. LOBDELL,'

D. B. McOSTRICH.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa, March 1, 1950.

Lustron Dealer Association, Washington, D. C.:

Have sold and erected six houses. Can sell and erect 10 houses in the next 4 months providing customers and loaning agencies can be assured Lustron is going to stay in business. In next 12 months should be able to sell and erect 50 houses when and if confidence in future is assured. Reason for increased sales because houses have proved successful in this climate, removing skepticism as to winter and summer comfort.

BRENTWOOD, Mo., February 28, 1950.

To date have erected 82 houses in St. Louis area. Are reasonably certain of sales of 40 houses in next 4 months and 120 houses in next 12 months. Have possibility of 150 houses being sold next 12 months. Reason we are certain of increased sales for next 12 months is because we have in past 12 months turned down at least 300 house orders. At sent me cry company is in peak condition to erect many more than in past because our crews can now erect houses in man-hours allotted.

NELSON IMPLEMENT Co.

HUNTINGTON, W. VA., March 1, 1950.

Lustron Dealer Association, Washington, D. C.: Eleven Lustrons sold to date; 10 erected. Uncertainty of Lustron status hurting immediate sales. Could reasonably expect sales of 12 units in next 12 months with possibility of 36 units. Nineteen hundred and fifty should show increased sales because of benefits of past advertising; ready acceptance of product already increased sales force. Increased flexibility of product and enthusiasm of customers now living in Lustrons.
