VANCE HARTKE, DEAR MR. CHAIRMAN: Section 204 of Public Law 94-71, directed the Administrator of Veterans' Affairs to conduct a detailed study of claims filed for dependency and indemnity compensation relating to veterans who, at time of death during the 6-month period from September 1, 1975, to March 1, 1976, were receiving disability compensation from the Veterans' Administration based on a rating total and permanent in nature.
