We owe them many thanks for their friendly support, and we would fain hope that the sense of obligation is mutual, and that the pages of the SUNDAY SCHOOL QUARTERLY are welcomed by thousands of Teachers seeking counsel and encouragement in their duties. We feel, more and more deeply, that the only effective teaching is that which we receive from the Holy Spirit; and that our efforts to benefit others can only be successful in proportion to the measure in which our own hearts are thus taught. The lessons learnt in that School are weighty indeed, and happy is the Teacher on whose ear they fall with a constant welcome. He will have to learn |
