tion of the $25.0 million will accommodate engineering at LASL, the major part will be applied to engineering, procurement, interim upgrading, and construction effort which has started at Rocky Flats.

Fiscal year 1973 and fiscal year 1974 funding considerations could result in extensions of construction schedules for the Rocky Flats facilities by as much as 7 months and of the Los Alamos facilities by about 12 months. We are currently in the process of evaluating this stretchout and it looks like it could result in increased costs for both facilities. Efforts are underway to eliminate or minimize the delays and resultant increases in cost.
