W HEN DAVID GARRICK had a dispute with the gentle and mysterious Junius, he was called a vagabond and told to attend to his pantomimes. He attended to his pantomimes and continued the dispute. The same remark might be hurled at me, with about the same result. I am now a licensed dealer in legs, shortskirts, French adaptations, Shakespeare, taste and the musical glasses. I am no longer a professional writer toiling for my living, but an amateur writing when I think I have something to say. Perhaps I am mistaken; perhaps not.
