LIQUID PEPTONE

TRADE

SPJ

MARK

This preparation of Pure Peptone is made from the clear fibre of selected Beef. It is highly concentrated. Its immediate therapeutic effects are stimulant and nutrient. Its great supporting power makes it invalu able in all conditions of low vitality.

It should be given in all cases of exhaustion from any cause, and is imperatively indicated in low fevers, such as Typhoid and Puerperal. As it is a pure pep. tone, it passes directly into the blood, (the process of osmosis requiring but a few minutes,) therefore the amount given is immediately available for the purpose of nutrition.

DOSE.-A tablespoonful every two hours.

NOTE.- In cases of extreme exhaustion (as from loss of blood or at the critical period of diseases), the above dose may be increased or repeated oftener in smaller doses, as for instance, a teaspoonful every five minutes.

PREFACE.

The previous editions of the Medical, Pharmaceutical and Dental Register-Directory and Intelligencer were received so favorably by the profession and general public, that in grateful acknowledgment of this encouragement, I have extended the usefulness of the Directory by increasing its scope.

The present edition, therefore, embraces the States of Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia, containing a correct list of Physicians, Druggists and Dentists in those States arranged alphabetically, and in large cities numerically by streets, also special Departments for Colleges, Hospitals, Dispensaries, Societies, Laws, etc.

I trust that I have succeeded in my efforts to make the Register-Directory indispensable and reliable in all the manifold information it imparts.

My sincere thanks are due and hereby offered to the Secretaries of the Societies, and friends who have greatly aided me in the execution of my task. GEORGE KEIL.

HERE is an underlying principle in business which no wise manufacturer can ignore, no matter how much he may be so inclined, and that is the necessity of producing the best materials it is possible to manufacture at a reasonable price. His patrons demand this quality in whatever line of work he may be engaged. He is exposed to competition on every side, and the standard of his goods, his reputation as a maker and dealer are soon known to the trade. Every man can do ordinary work, but only a few excel, and are acknowledged leaders.

H. D. JUSTI & SON HAVE BY THEIR
PAINSTAKING EFFORTS AND INTEL-
LIGENT WORK WON A POSITION FAR
ABOVE THEIR COMPETITORS

The necessity for the best has been met by them in all particulars, and you will find at their stores the perfection of dental instruments and materials, the result of the necessity which in this age of progress demands only the best.
