DEAR BROTHER:

This, the seventh edition of the Catalogue of our Order, has been compiled for professional use, and with a view of increasing the interest of graduate members in the affairs of the fraternity as a whole.

The Chapters are arranged in the order of their establishment. The names are arranged alphabetically in classes, except in the cases of the Marshall and Minor Chapters, where the degrees taken vary, and it was deemed inexpedient to continue the classification. Each member is supposed to have received the regular degrees conferred by the law school at which he was a student, and to be engaged in the regular practice of the law. Death is denoted by an *, followed by the date, if known. A name is usually inserted once, but where a member has belonged to two Chapters his name will be found in both Chapters.

Although meeting with many discouragements in the nine years during which the cataloguer has endeavored to solidify the fraternity, it is still his belief that the Order has a mission to perform and will eventually be of great force in the legal profession.

With a sigh of relief this Catalogue is offered to the fraternity. Conscious of the fact that in its compilation all data obtainable have been used, no apology is offered for its short-comings. Occasional inaccuracies are inevitable in a work of this nature and magnitude.

The request usually found in other fraternity catalogues is here repeated. "All persons into whose hands this book may fall, whether they are members of the fraternity or not, are requested to supply corrections and additions." Such corrections are necessary in preparing a subsequent edition.

Should this book, besides being of business value to the members, cause them to take a deeper interest in the noble purposes for which this fraternity was founded, the editor will feel himself fully repaid for the many patient hours of labor spent upon it. Fraternally,

GREENVILLE, Darke Co., Ohio.

GEO. A. KATZENBERGER.
