Page 26 - A rigid physical examination will be made by a Federal medical officer before appointment. Persons who are offered appointment must pay their own expenses in reporting for duty. If upon reporting at the place of assignment they are found ineligible because of physical defects they cannot be appointed and no part of their expenses for returning home can be borne by the Government.
