Executive Office and Independent Offices Appropriation Act:

The receipts from the sale of report-form blanks of the Interstate Commerce Commission to the various States and reports on proposed changes in transportation rates shall be credited to the appropriation for printing and binding for the fiscal year 1933 and be available for expenditure (p. 137). There is made available for the United States Shipping Board Merchant Fleet Corporation for the fiscal year 1933, except for the payment of claims, the amount on hand on July 1, 1932, the amount received during the fiscal year 1933 from the operation of ships, and not to exceed $1,500,000 of the total proceeds of sales of ships and surplus property received during the fiscal year 1933 (p. 143).

Interior Department Appropriation Act:

All moneys reimbursed during the fiscal year 1933 to the appropriation "Industrial assistance," Bureau of Indian Affairs, shall be credited to the appropriation and be available for the purposes of the paragraph (p. 157).

Any moneys received in connection with the construction and operation of the Alaska Railroad during the fiscal year 1933 shall be credited to the appropriation (p. 186).

Revenues received from the lease of marginal lands, Tule Lake Division, Klamath Irrigation Project, shall be available for refunds to lessees in cases where it becomes necessary because of flooding or other reasons within the terms of such leases (p. 174).

Departments of State, Justice, Commerce, and Labor Appropriation Act:

The prison industries working capital fund and all receipts credited thereto may be used as a revolving fund for the fiscal year 1933 for the purposes authorized by the Act of May 27, 1930 (46 Stat., p. 391) (p. 272).

All moneys received during the fiscal year 1933 by the Government Fuel Yard from the sale of fuel shall be credited to the appropriation from which such such fuel was purchased. (p. 295).

Treasury and Post Office Departments Appropriation Act:

All proceeds derived from the work performed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, by direction of the Secretary of the Treasury, during the fiscal year 1933, shall be credited when received to the appropriation for such bureau for that fiscal year (p. 312).

All moneys recovered by the Bureau of Narcotics from the funds used for the purchase of narcotics for securing evidence shall be credited to the appropriation for such bureau current at the time of deposit (fiscal year 1933) (p. 310). To the extent that the revenues of the Post Office Department shall be insufficient to meet the appropriations made, a sum equal to such deficiency in the revenue is appropriated, to be paid out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to supply such deficiency in the postal revenues for the fiscal year 1933 (p. 327).

War Department Appropriation Act:

For maintenance and operation of the Panama Canal, in addition to the specific
appropriation for 1933, all money arising from the conduct of business opera-
tions authorized by the Panama Canal Act are appropriated (p. 359).
All moneys received by the Panama Canal from services rendered or materials
and supplies furnished to the United States, the Panama Railroad Co., the
Canal Zone government, or to their employees, respectively, or to the Panama
Government, from hotel and hospital supplies and services; from rentals,
wharfage, and like services; from labor, materials, and supplies and other
services furnished to vessels other than those passing through the canal,
and to others unable to obtain the same elsewhere; from the sale of scrap
and other by-products of manufacturing and shop operations; from the sale of
obsolete and unserviceable materials, supplies, and equipment purchased or ac-
quired for the operation, maintenance, protection, sanitation, and government
of the canal and Canal Zone, are appropriated, without being covered into the
Treasury of the United States, for expenditure and reinvestment for the fiscal
year 1933 under the several heads of appropriations for the Panama Canal
(p. 360).

War Department Appropriation Act-Continued

For operation, maintenance, and extension of waterworks, sewers, and pavements in the cities of Panama and Colon, there is appropriated for the fiscal year 1933, the necessary portions of such sums as shall be paid as water rentals or directly by the Government of Panama for such expenses (p. 360).

Public Act Number 33:

For the amount necessary to make per capita payments of $25 to each enrolled Chippewa Indian of Minnesota under regulations prescribed by the Secretary of the Interior, so much as may be necessary is appropriated from the principal fund to the credit of such Indians under section 7 of the Act of January 14, 1889, as amended (p. 410).

Public Act Number 92:

The balance of any judgment rendered against the United States in favor of the Wichita and affiliated bands of Indians in Oklahoma by the Court of Claims shall be placed in the United States Treasury to their credit and draw interest at the rate of 4 per centum (p. 412).

Public Act Number 105:

The balance of any judgment rendered against the United States by the Court of Claims in favor of the Eastern or Emigrant and the Western or Old Settler Chreokee Indians shall be placed in the United States Treasury to their credit and draw interest at the rate of 4 per centum (p. 414).

Public Act. Number 179:

To make payments of $25 to each enrolled Chippewa Indian of the Red Lake Band of Minnesota under such regulations as the Secretary of the Interior shall prescribe, so much as may be necessary is appropriated from the principal timber fund on deposit to the credit of such Indians in the United States Treasury (p. 419).

Public Act Number 182:

To make a per capital payment or distribution of $50, in two equal installments of $25 each on or about October 15, 1932, and on or about January 15, 1933, to each of the living members on the tribal roll of the Menominee Tribe of Indians of the State of Wisconsin, under such rules and regulations as the Secretary of the Interior may prescribe, so much of the funds of such Indians. as may be necessary may be withdrawn from the amount on deposit to their credit in the United States Treasury (p. 420).

Private Act Number 37:

To pay Captain Chester J. Dick, Finance Department, United States Army, the amount of stoppage against his pay by the General Accounting Office ordered by the Adjutant General because of the embezzlement by a civilian cashier of funds for which Captain Dick was responsible, so much as may be necessary (not to exceed $662.77) is appropriated (p. 452).

Private Act Number 68:

To enable the Secretary of the Interior to pay to John Herink the value of certain improvements made by him on certain public lands in Nebraska, so much as may be necessary (not to exceed $2,500) is appropriated (p. 460).

Private Act Number 72:

To enable the Secretary of the Treasury to pay to Ross E. Adams, Nashua, Montana, a sum equal to the amount found by the Commissioner of the General Land Office to have been paid by him in excess of lawful requirements on account of his original homestead entry on lands within the Fort Peck Indian Reservation, less certain deductions, so much as may be necessary is authorized to be paid from the money on deposit in the United States Treasury to the credit of the Fort Peck Indians (p. 461).

VI. AMOUNT OF CONTRACTS AUTHORIZED BY APPROPRIATION AND MISCELLANEOUS ACTS IN ADDITION TO THE APPROPRIATIONS MADE IN SUCH ACTS

SEVENTY-SECOND CONGRESS, FIRST SESSION

Agricultural Appropriation Act:

For rent of buildings and parts of buildings in the District of Col-
umbia for use of the department and its various bureaus and
offices, in addition to the appropriation of $70,000, obligations
are authorized to be incurred for not to exceed (p. 7).
For the construction of roads and trails in national forests, in
addition to the appropriation of $5,960,000 for the fiscal year
1933, contracts are authorized to be entered into for not to exceed
(p. 39)__

District of Columbia Appropriation Act:

For the construction of a bridge over the Anacostia River, District
of Columbia, in the line of Benning Road, in addition to the
appropriation of $300,000, contracts are authorized for not to
exceed (p. 100) –

For the erection of a junior high-school building on a site owned at
Nineteenth Street and Minnesota Avenue southeast, in addi-
tion to the appropriation of $225,000, contracts are authorized
to be entered into for not to exceed (p. 107) ... ... ....

Hospital, in addition to the appropriation of $250,000, contracts

pensary facilities for persons entitled to hospitalization under the
World War Veterans' Act of 1924, as amended, in addition to the
