Neh. 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared : for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Lev. 26:41 If then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity : 42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land. 43 The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity; because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
Dt. 27:26 Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them: and all the people shall say, Amen.

1 S. 2:30 Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far
from me; for them that honor me I will honor, and they that · despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
Honoring and glorifying God. 1 Ch. 16:28 Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength. 29 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
Job 36:24 Remember that thou magnify his work which men behold.
