Tras subcommittee will have under consideration requests for new gational authority totaling $49,014,237,000. This does not inde other requests of the Department of Defense for the following nt requested for all of those activities that are connected with e defense of our country and the maintenance of peace on this sphere inges to about $52,800 million. It is a very staggering sum of money when considered in some aspects. When we look to the things that expenditure is supposed to protect, it is not excessive. |
