A common anchorage for the inboard ends of two outboard lap belts and inboard ends of the upper torso or shoulder restraint portion of the types 2 and 2a seat belt assemblies shall sustain a pull of 6.000 pounds.

Tho load shall be applied to the body block at an angle of 10 degrees plus or minum 6 degrees from the horizontal. As applicablo, the doors of the vehicle may be closed during the test.
