Mr. HENSHAW. The amount requested for fiscal year 1980 is $1,297,000. The funds are for the reimbursement to the Metropolitan Police Department for personnel detailed to the Congress. Due to a reduction in the number of Metropolitan Police personnel

requested by the Board, the request is smaller than the amount appropriated in fiscal year 1979 by $124,000.

Inspector Roland W. Perry, Commanding Officer, Financial Management Branch of the Metropolitan Police Department, submitted the budget estimate after conferring with Chief Powell concerning the police services to be furnished by the Metropolitan Police Department during the coming year.
