Intended to comprise books of valuable information in a form adapted for reading while travelling, and at the same time of a character that will render them worthy of preservation. Mr. MACAULAY'S Memoirs of WARREN HASTINGS, and of Lord Clive, taken from his Historical Essays, and Mr. M'Culloch's Article on LONDON, taken from his Geographical Dictionary, form the first Three Parts; to be followed at monthly intervals by other works of acknowledged merit, the price of which has hitherto confined them within a comparatively narrow circle of readers.
