TABLE III-GUIDE TO FEDERAL REGISTER FINDING AIDS Using the original acts of Congress and the Executive rules and notices, the Office of the Federal Register publishes the daily Federal Register, the Code of Federal Regulations, the slip laws, and the United States Statutes at Large. The Office also publishes the U.S. Government Manual, the Public Papers of the Presidents of the United States, and the Weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents. Each of these publications contains an appropriate subject index and numerical finding aid designed to facilitate its use and reduce research time. This guide describes those indexes and finding aids and indicates where they may be found. It also includes a table of special information lists that are useful to researchers generally.
