The name of Mary Kirk, formerly widow of James A. Taggart, late of Captain Hudspeth's Company C, California Battalion, War with Mexico, and pay her a pension at the rate of $20 per month.

The name of Annie Kelly, helpless and dependent child of Thomas Kelly, late of Company F, Second Regiment Ohio Infantry, War with Mexico, and pay her a pension at the rate of $20 per month.

The name of Sarah M. Gibbins, widow of William A. Gibbins, late member of Captain John H. Settle's Company D, First Regiment Oregon Mounted Volunteers, Indian wars, and pay her a pension at the rate of $20 per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

The name of James C. Hicks, late of the Sixty-eighth Company United States Coast Artillery Corps, and pay him a pension at the rate of $40 per month.

CHAP. 141.-An Act Granting pensions and increase of pensions to certain soldiers and sailors of the Regular Army and Navy, and certain soldiers and sailors of wars other than the Civil War, and to widows of such soldiers and sailors.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on

the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws
