This transcript is believed to be in the handwriting of Brunck, the eminent scholar and critic. At the end is the following note :-"Ce Manuscrit est la copie d'un in folio en papier de soixante feuillets de la main de Guyet qui a joint au texte, un grand nombre de Restitutions et de Corrections, avec d'autres notes pour l'intelligence du texte. The text is written in a very elegant character with headings and initials in blue and red. The character of the Gloss is not so good. The first few leaves have been supplied on newer vellum in a handwriting of the XV-XVI Century. A RARE AND VALUABLE CODEX. It is older than the copy preserved in the Durham library, and only one MS. in that of Lyons exceeds, or rivals. it in antiquity.
