Attached, bearing date August 1, 1973, is a complete reprint of the

Renegotiation Board Regulations under the Renegotiation Act of

1951, as amended. It supersedes all previous issuances of such regula-

tions by the Superintendent of Documents.

Amendment No. 31

The 31st series of revisions in the regulations has also been incor-

porated in this reprint. Amendment No. 30 and its predecessors

included all amendments and additions published in the Federal

Register on or before December 1, 1972. This reprint of the regula-

tions incorporates all later amendments and additions published in the

Federal Register on or before August 1, 1973. Set forth below is a

list of sections affected by such later amendments and additions,

comprising Amendment No. 31.

Sections Affected

Table of Contents is revised adding reference to Table of Citations.

Renegotiation Act of 1951, as amended, heading and termination date

are revised to reflect amendment by Public Law 93-66, approved

July 9, 1973.

"Historical Notes" is revised to include reference to Public Law 93-66,

approved July 9, 1973, in section 2. Reference to the Maritime

Administration and the Federal Maritime Board are added to

section 4. The Federal Aviation Agency is deemed to mean the

Federal Aviation Administration in section 4, and the administrator

of the former is deemed the administrator of the latter in section 5.

§ 1460.13(b). The comment declares that every contractor contributing

to the defense effort will be given credit under this factor as the

facts may warrant, listing (1) through (8) conditions to be

considered.

§ 1461.2(b) (1). Reference to § 1475.6(d) is added.

Sections Affected Continued

Part 1464 is completely revised. Subpart A title is added limiting
applicability of § 1464.1 through § 1464.19 to fiscal years ending
on or before June 30, 1973. §§ 1464.91 and 1464.91 forms are redesig-
nated as §§ 1464.18 and 1464.19 in subpart A title heading.

§ 1464.90 is redesignated § 1464.18. Page 286.1 is consolidated. § 1464.91
is redesignated § 1464.19. New subpart B title and headings are
added for §§ 1464.21 through 1464.29, and 1464.90, applicable to
fiscal years ending after June 30, 1973. The latter new sections are
also addd.

§ 1470.3 (h) is completely revised.

§ 1471.2(e) is deleted. Subsection (f) is redesignated (e). Page 422
is consolidated.

§ 1472.5(a) is revised in its first sentence.

§ 1474.6 (c) (4) is revised to clarify its meaning.

§ 1475.6(d) (3) is revised by inserting interest requirement consistent
with 1474.6 (c) (4).

§ 1499.2-18 is revised in its title to limit applicability to fiscal years
ending on or before June 30, 1973.

New § 1499.2-20 is added regarding recalcitrant contractors.
