PART X INSTRUCTIONS The processing times should be reported in actual days, not averages. Processing times should be obtained from the CHRONOLOGY SHEET on the reverse of the front cover of each record of trial (DD Form 490 or DD Form 491). All elapsed time, including elapsed time reported in the "Deductions" portion of Section X must be reported in the "Gross Processing Time" portion. To obtain the total net processing time, subtract the total deductible days from the total gross processing time. A BCD SPCM is a case in which the sentence of the rehearing as approved by the GCM AUTH includes a bad conduct discharge, either suspended or unsuspended. A Non-BCD SPCM is a case in which the sentence of the rehearing as approved by the GCM AUTH does not include a bad conduct discharge, either suspended or unsuspended. When an offense is a felony under the law of the jurisdiction in which the accused was convicted, it should be reported as a civil court felony conviction. If conviction of more than one offense is involved in a particular trial, report only one conviction for that individual's trial. Geographical Definitions: CONUS - The 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia and surrounding waters within the 3-mile limit. VIETNAM - Vietnam and surrounding waters within the 3-mile limit. OVERSEAS (EXCEPT VN) — All areas other than the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia and surrounding waters within the 3-mile limit, and other than Vietnam and surrounding waters within the 3-mile limit. NJPS aboard ship should be reported by the actual geographical location of the ship. NJPS aboard ships not actually within the 3-mile limits of either CONUS or VN will be reported in the OVERSEAS column. Report only on drug/marijuana offenses. Do not report on other types of offenses which may have been included in the NJP. Report punitive discharges executed during reporting period, regardless of where or when trial was held.
