A fascinating read. Entries like "dog-eared" are still around. Unfortunately, as of this review, only the first volume exists within the Google online preview. Definition entries cut off halfway through, where Vol. 1 ends, at letter "F." I've noticed the same thign with other multi-volume dictionaries, such as Bouvier's 3rd Ed. Apparently, Google scans all these old books, but very few people bother to read them.
