To deem certain disabilities incurred pursuant to State National

Guard service during World War I to be service connected for purposes of chapter 11 of title 38, United States Code (relating to compensation for service-counected disabilities),

and for other purposes. 1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa

2 tives of the United Siates of Imerica in Congress assembled,

:3 That (a) notwithstanding any provision of title 38, United 4 States C'ode, or any other provision of law, the loss of one

or more limbs by any individual during World War I (as

6 defined in section 101 (7) of such title) while serving in

ī the National Guard of any State and performing military

& duties assigned by the State in connection with the entry of
