AN ACT

For the relief of Karl L. Larson.

February 19, 1958 [H. R. 1392]

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary Karl L. Larson. of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Karl L. Larson, Mount Shasta, California, the sum of $503.25. The payment of such sum shall be in full settlement of all claims of such person against the United States for compensation for personal property destroyed by fire on July 20, 1955, while employed by the Forest Service on the ShastaTrinity National Forest, California: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act for the payment of any one claim shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with such claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That First Lieutenant Percy Hamilton Hebert, Air Force of the United States, retired, serial number AO-888402, is hereby relieved of all liability pay to the United States the sum of $2,238. Such sum represents certain amounts erroneously paid to the said Percy Hamilton Hebert
