WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 11, 1871-12 M. The twenty-fourth annual session of the legislature of the State of Wisconsin began at Madison, the capital of said State, the second Wednesday, being the 11th day of January, 1871. Pursuant to law, at 12 o'clock, M of said day, the Senate was called to order by the Lieutenant Governor, and the roll of the Senators holding over from 1870, was then called by L B. Hills, Chief Clerk of last session, and the following Senators from their respective districts appeared and took their seats . From the 2d Senatorial District - Lyman Walker. 6th do do P V. Deuster.
